At the end of a bitterly-contested race, it was the champions Louis Chiron and Ciro Basadonna who triumphed in their elegant Lancia Aurelia B20 GT, no 69. To preserve the memory of these events from the Rally's golden age, Girard-Perregaux has designed a chronograph with a Manufactory-made automatic mechanical movement. It is produced in two limited, individually-numbered series, 250 in steel and 50 in pink gold. The case's Tonneau shape, an enduring classic in watch-making, is ideal for this historical theme. The dial is inscribed with the legend, 'MONTE-CARLO 1954', and the case back engraved with the winners' registration-plate and the names of the fabulous car and its drivers.
